GREEN TEA

1.      Summary

Green tea is made with the leaves of Camellia sinensis, which is rich in flavonoids, saponins, polyphenols and beneficial tannins and also in antioxidant compounds. The leaves of Green Tea are either steamed or subjected to low levels of dry heat after harvesting. If we talk about the origin, green tea originated from China and has become associated in Asia, especially in Japan and South Korea. Because of many countries consumed it, green tea has been subjected to many scientific and medical studies to determine the extent of its long-purported health benefits. For example: Green tea has an antioxidant effect within the human body. It means that antioxidant substances help to 'mop up' these unstable free radical molecules. Besides, green tea is against cancer in the human digestive, reducing elevated cholesterol levels, providing antioxidant protection against free radical damage, helping to lower high blood pressure, and against bacterial gum infections such as gingivitis.

3.      Good Things I Learn from the Article

Good things I learn from the article that article gives me deeper information about what is green tea and benefits of green tea. Here, I know that green tea contains of antioxidant which is useful for human body and also used in Medical. We can see the benefits of green tea on the polyphenol substances within Green Tea, which help to block enzymes in the body that produce toxic substances and may help to prevent the mutation of healthy cells into cancer cells. From that example, I can see that green tea gives a significant protective effect against cancer in the human digestive tract. It means that green tea can prevent some serious disease.
